Erev Rosh Hashanah 1 Tishrei 5771 09/09/2010

 

After I had initially been through the ringer, I was blessed to meet Steve Lightle in person. He says that each time we hear The-VOICE-; it is a test. What choice are we going to make? Understand and then –maybe- do; or “Sh’ma” (hear! Do!)? The choices we make will determine our path. Are we in command of our destiny or have we placed our actual life in The Master’s hands, come what may?

 

Erev Rosh Hashanah 2010 I was in prayer, begging to understand what was going on in my life. Having been told years earlier, I knew I was going somewhere, but where, when? An hour and half and a bucket of tears later I heard The-VOICE- plain as day: “You don’t need to know.” With that I put on my tie and went to the Erev Rosh Hashanah service.

 

Later on in the spring as I did my six miles composed of four laps, into New Haven and back into Hamden, I was praying. Actually I was sort of complaining. Going blind. Business gone, House gone. 401-k gone. Everything gone except what could fit in one room in my 1/3 of an apartment with people I didn’t know. Finally I hear: “Because you endure.” I stopped my complaining and tried to understand what I had just heard.

 

To walk blind totally trusting YAH for everything. How does one do that? It’s like walking six miles a day. One step at a time, not questioning why. Sh’ma! This walk has no menu.

I encourage you to listen to Steve Lightle’s testimony which will reveal that being a Born from Above, Ruach Filled, and Ruach led Believer is not for the faint of heart! Hearing -The-VOICE- is for HIS purpose not ours. We are to be obedient and His NAME be raised up.  Praise HIS Set Apart NAME!
