Through the last almost eleven years, I have heard from teachers and friends the first five quotes below. The authors will not be identified, but obviously the author of the sixth quote is Rav. Shaul (Paul). It is just ten+ years since I shockingly discovered that what I was taught was Replacement Theology. Seeking to forgive damage done to me and my family for – four generations –

This is how it always happens, divine appointments, that is. A few months ago on my Walk-‘n-Pray, I realized that a person was following me, and a quick look identified a woman. Once we hit a straight stretch with no turn offs, I figured I better alleviate any fear she may have about the person only ten feet ahead of her. I stopped, turned and extended my hand (normatively a Jewish no-no, but a business habit) and said ... read more

Truly, before the rebirth of Messianic Judaism, Dad was right! But after a lifetime suffering in that double bind, I was finally free. In 2007 I discovered that The Ruach HoKodesh (Holy Spirit) was given on Shavuot1 and that Christian Pentacost Sunday2 using Easter Sunday timing was really just a false Christian replacement for Shavuot. That Shabbat I excitedly drove straight from Shul to my Father’s home to show him what I had found ... read more

Since January, 2018 I have been studying and praying to understand “Communion”. 17 July 2018 I published “LISTEN-UP! “See The Spinner” 4 The Inconvenient Left Behind”. At that time I was focused on the verse: “do this as often as you drink (it), in remembrance of me.” Yes, I am correct, do the Seder in remembrance of Y’shua. But because of my anger at the Church I was blinded to 1 Corinthians 11:26. Yes, it is also correct to share in the Assembly “The Meal of Our Master Y’shua” more than once a year in the Seder. ... read more

Often, but not always, Dad would lift his glass of wine and say: “Next year in Jerusalem!” I never knew the proper response, and indeed considering the silence neither did anyone else. Every year we would celebrate Easter Sunday service topped with an early afternoon feast featuring the centerpiece Easter Ham. Was that toast at the beginning or end of the meal? That I don’t remember. I just remember what was said. It’s just that, for some reason, that minor event, when it was done, was seared into my memory! ... read more

So far in this life (69 years) there has only been two times where I stood on the knife edge, knowing that all has changed for all time. The first occurred at September 1968, the beginning of my second year as a Lutheran pre-theological student. Earnestly reading, studying, trying to square the holy writings of Scripture, with the writings of men, I read one sentence that sent shivers through me. At that precise moment, my life changed ... read more

Is it software? Then the thought hits! Oh NO! I don't have a backup! Slowly, reality seeps in like the silence of a car that will not start. But this is worse! Irreplaceable data lost forever? It just can't be! ... read more

Steve makes the point that hearing The-VOICE- may one day save your life. To that I say ‘Amen”! The first time in 2011 while out on my 6 mile pray/walk and unknowingly walking into a violent storm, I heard three times: “Turn Back! Turn back NOW! Turn Back! Turn back NOW! Turn Back! Turn back NOW!” In the testimony below, because I had become accustomed to hearing and obeying The-VOICE- all I heard was “Turn Back!”. By 2014 I had learned to discern The-VOICE- and more importantly learned to instantly obey, without questioning or understanding ... read more

November 2013, having just leased a condo in a four unit building I was actually looking forward to caring for the small patch of green out front and in back. I was happy because I was no longer caring for two acres! 33 years in a house with two acres, plus running a business 12 hours a day will make one happy to see the the snow fly! Sweet hibernation until spring when it all cycles around, again! Praise YAH! ... read more

The above words from First Thessalonians are the last words that I spoke to my 94 year old Mother days from her passing to YAH. Being totally incapacitated she could not respond. Her passing at 4:10 PM on Shabbat 2 Kislev 5776 was release from a life of blindness and recently, total incapacitation. Praise YAH! My thoughts and prayers are with my father who lost his beloved wife of sixty seven years, and my sister who loved her Mother dearly, caring for her constantly. May the above words ring true for us who have total unwavering hope in YAH through Y’shua ... read more

My daily time with ABBA in deep prayer with music is 5:00 am until …done. I seek him for the “Shalom that passes all understand”, through which all else can be accomplished. A hotel room was rejected in favor of sitting in a nice comfortable chair in the front hotel entry. The arrangement of the entry is: Four easy chairs in the middle, front doors in front of me, large couch to my left with a radio playing music, front desk to my right. Friday 5:00 am the night clerk and a young lady were sitting on the couch working on their computers. I put in my earphones, turned on music and went to prayer. In 15 minutes –THE-VOICE-, interrupted, loudly, firmly commanding ... read more

In a business career of 39 years I was constantly amazed at the ideas that would enter my head out of nowhere. Great ideas! So many ideas that I called them “Ed’s thousand crazy ideas”. I kept track of the ideas listing what I thought would be the top five. Deciding when to take a risk on the top idea would take a great deal of time. Remember, the man making those decisions was king in his own little world, an “intellectual Believer”, using prayer to enlist The Eternal to bless his world. When I became a “Born Again” Believer, (6 Aug 2005, 2:00 pm) led by the Ruach, things changed. Instead of using prayer to “get my way,” I was seeking to be obedient to the leading of the Ruach. ... read more

To be a witness and testify to the things that ABBA Father does as HE raises up HIS GREAT NAME, gives me joy to my core! The body is supposed to work together for common good, as YAH raises up his Great NAME. The realization that YAH brought together three complete strangers to accomplish HIS will sends shivers through me. What would have happened if any of us had ignored the command? ... read more

Bored with class, sitting in the very last seat in the back, and looking for something to do, I realized that there was a textbook with nothing on the brown paper cover. For the next four hours I colored onto the plain brown grocery bag book cover, an image of what Earth would like from far out in space. The picture to the left with the NASA image is very close to what I remember. Finished with that, I colored onto the paper the image of a hand as if it were the hand of Our Creator hovering over the Earth casting a shadow on it. I leave the hand off of this picture because to draw it would be a violation of The Second Commandment ... read more

Do you know someone who easily takes offense? Do you find yourself shaping your conversations to avoid minefields, lest this person take offense? I know such a person. Me! Since becoming a born again, Ruach filled, Ruach led Believer, I have been praying and working so much by my own power, to not “take offense”! What is the root of this scourge? Roots are buried and hidden. For eight years now, deep prayer and seeking the Ruach have been the answer in my life. ... read more
Do You Think I Did That For You?

On Shabbat, late summer 2008, I was telling the 20+ students in Torah Study the miraculous things that YAH had recently done in my life. One miracle on 6 August 2005 brought me back from atheism to faith. Another miracle on 6 October 2007 pushed me to Shabbat at my Messianic Jewish Congregation. During that same Shabbat a 50 year old dream that had recurred from age 8 to age 11 was fulfilled. I was so excited to tell what YAH had done! What happened next tempered my excitement, but then grew into wisdom. ... read more

On 7 August 2015 my Connecticut driver’s license expires. On 22 July 2015 I headed to the Columbus, Ohio Motor Vehicle office to apply for my first new Driver's License in 49 years. Every document needed except a Birth Certificate was found. My US Army document file was chosen as a stand in because those official documents listed by place of birth. Good try, but the nice lady at Motor Vehicle shook her head 'No'. A week later, at a cost of $43, the real Georgia birth certificate arrived. The next day as I gathered up all my documents in preparation for a new attempt at Motor Vehicle, I heard The-VOICE- ... read more
